Nestled in the picturesque village of Langho, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Little Snodworth Farm is a peaceful, well-established haven for horses and their owners. Surrounded by rolling countryside and quiet bridleways, our farm provides a calm and welcoming environment where horses can thrive.

We offer high-quality full and part livery services, thoughtfully tailored to meet the individual needs of both horse and rider. Whether out in the fields or settled in the yard, our focus is on creating a safe, supportive space where horses are respected, well-cared for, and treated as part of the family.

OUR LIVERY FACILITIES

Our livery offers 32 spacious internal stables, built with comfort, safety, and ease of care in mind. Each horse benefits from a warm indoor shower area for grooming, along with access to a well-lit outdoor arena that supports year-round training and exercise. We focus on providing facilities that allow horses to stay healthy, active, and well looked after in all seasons.

Turnout is a key part of our approach. With 47 acres of well-maintained pastureland, we offer 365-day turnout whenever the weather allows. This space gives horses the freedom to move, graze, and socialise, helping to support both their physical health and emotional well-being.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR LIVERY CLIENTS

At Little Snodworth Farm, we strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all horses, owners, and staff. To ensure this, we ask our livery clients to follow these guidelines:

  1. Horse welfare: Prioritise your horse’s well-being by keeping to structured feeding, exercise, and turnout routines.

  2. Care for the community: Respect fellow livery clients, staff, and visitors. Keep communal areas tidy and leave shared facilities as you found them.

  3. Safety first: Follow all farm safety protocols, including appropriate handling of horses and safe use of facilities.

  4. Respect for nature: Help us preserve the beauty of the farm by driving slowly, respecting the privacy of our wildlife, keeping dogs on leads and disposing of waste responsibly and minimising disruption to the environment.

  5. Communication: Inform us in advance if you have changes to your routine or need adjustments to your horse’s care plan. Open and clear communication helps us provide the best support.

By working together, we can ensure Little Snodworth Farm remains a welcoming and enjoyable space for everyone. Thank you for being part of our community!

WHO WE WORK WITH

At Little Snodworth Farm, we work with individuals who share our commitment to the wellbeing of their horses and our values of respect, responsibility, and care. We aim to build a supportive community of horse owners who align with our approach and value the high standards of care we provide.

WE WELCOME:

1. Passionate Horse Owners
Whether you’re experienced or new to horse ownership, we work with individuals who prioritise their horse’s health, happiness, and development. Our clients appreciate structured routines, excellent facilities, and professional care.

2. Non-Competitive Horses
Little Snodworth Farm is the perfect environment for horses not actively involved in competitive activities. Our focus is on providing a peaceful, low-pressure environment that supports horses and owners who share our ethos. Our equines are our beloved pets, part of our families who we will support throughout their lives.

We especially welcome non-ridden horses and encourage ownership that involves care and love without an emphasis on them owing us anything. They give us so much and so we’re proud to provide a home where owners can just enjoy time without the pressures of the typical equine world.
